Tiger 3 had areas of strength for a day as it made Rs 44.5 crore in India on Diwali and recorded its greatest netting day on its second day as it made Rs 59.25 crore. Tiger 3 has been trailing behind other films in the YRF Spy Universe like Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan’s War. It will also be facing competition from Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal next week.

This is the third film of the Tiger franchise. The franchise started with Ek Tha Tiger, directed by Kabir Khan, and was followed by Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai. Tiger 3, also starring Emraan Hashmi, has been directed by Maneesh Sharma.
