Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Tiger 3 has been cleared by the CBFC with ‘U/A’ certificate. Its runtime is 2 hours 33 minutes.
Salman Khan’s big festive release — Tiger 3 — is all set to hit the big screen on Diwali. The Maneesh Sharma directorial is passed with ‘U/A’ (unrestricted but with a parental discretion advisory for children under 12 years) certificate without any cuts by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
While the film has been passed by the CBFC without suggesting any visual cuts, the makers were asked to make a few changes in its subtitles. Reportedly, there are a few dialogues in the film which mention RAW (Research and Analysis Wing). The certification body asked the makers to use the correct abbreviation, that is, R&AW, in the film instead of RAW, reported Bollywood Hungama.
The makers were also asked to replace words ‘bewakoof’ with ‘foolish’ and ‘mashroof’ with ‘busy’ in the film’s subtitles. After the makers made the necessary changes, it was awarded the certificate. The cut list also mentions that ‘the modification with respect to the National Anthem is retained as per request’.
The length of the film, as mentioned on the censor certificate is 153 minutes, that is, the film’s run time will be 2 hours and 33 minutes.
Along with Salman Khan, Tiger 3 stars Katrina Kaif in the lead and Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist. The film will also have a long cameo with Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan after Salman played a special role in SRK’s film that released in January.
On Friday, Katrina Kaif shared a picture of herself with her Tiger 3 co-star Salman to wish their fans happy Diwali. She took to her social media platforms and wrote, “शुभ दीपावली 🪔💫 ❤️#Tiger3 releasing on this Sunday, 12th November in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.”
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 is scheduled to release in theatres on Sunday, November 12.
