In the video, dumpers, cars, and bikes can be seen navigating a small portion of the road, as most of the area is marred by waterlogging and potholes.

“Mumbai Goa highway is in a perpetual mess and now heavy rains in July will make it unusable.@nitin_gadkari ji has a lot to answer for, for not making a critical highway functional in 10 years of his job. What’s the point of Samruddhi,” commented a social media user on the post.
“It’s such a nightmare and the worst part is that it was a much better highway before they started renovating it,” wrote another user on X.
“And we are expected to fight with China for new Manufacturing orders Not done. Needs immediate attention @nitin_gadkari ji, this is Dangerous… And who is the local MLA… ? Kisi ko Lena-dena nai hai,” said an X user. A few users jokingly asked “where is the road?”
“Horrible. Still the monsoon has not set in properly. Scared me even to think what will happen if it rains heavily for a long time. So many tweets since past many months regarding the same. But no response from @NHAI_Official or @nitin_gadkari. Sir, please look into i,” read a comment on the post.
According to the HT report, the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has taken up the work of concretising the highway, however, commuters are facing the problem of potholes in the patches which are yet to be concretised.
